You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly (if you don’t get it, check your junk/spam folder). Please feel free to respond to that email with any additional details that you think of. No information is too much. I want to get your event just right!
I’ll review what you’ve sent and be in touch within the next 24–48 hours. In the meantime, you may wish to review the following.
Choosing the Right Photo Booth for Your Event
I’ve put together a list of topics and questions to keep in mind as you search for a photo booth provider. These are important as they’ll ensure that your guests have the very best experience and so that you’ll have the utmost confidence. I’ve included my own answers, too.
What type of camera system do you use (tablet, DSLR, mirrorless)?
I use a high-end camera with professional lenses. Unlike tablets, this means your photos can even be printed large without losing quality.
What kind of lighting do you provide?
I set up powerful strobes with large, flattering modifiers. This is the same style of lighting I use for my portrait clients (and unlike any other photo booths). I light the booth so even large groups look great, without anyone stuck in the shadows.
Who operates the booth? Is there a trained photographer on site, or is it self-service?
I’m a professional photographer and onsite from setup to breakdown. I offer posing guidance to each group or individual that desires it. This ensures guests have fun, look their best and waiting guests get their turn soon.
Do you provide backup equipment?
Yes. Events are once-in-a-lifetime, so I always bring backups for cameras, lights, and cables. A power station is included at no extra cost to keep the event going!
Short Timeframe
If your event is coming up within the next 30 days, it’s a good time to think about your photo strip design. Start by browsing template options (I’ve included examples below), gather any logos or brand files you’d like included, and collect inspiration like invites or flyers. If others are helping plan the event, now’s the perfect moment to check in with them so everyone’s on the same page. I’ll ask for your photo strip template design preferences 30 days out from the event and generate a proof for your approval.
